2. Service description

Emerald Horizon Horology provides educational content focused on watches and horology. This includes reading materials such as guides and articles, learning tracks explaining movement fundamentals (mechanical, automatic, and quartz), care and maintenance tutorials, workshop and session information, and community-oriented learning topics.

The service is informational. We do not provide certified watchmaking services, warranties for third-party products, or guarantees about the suitability of any watch for a particular use. When we describe techniques, tools, or routines, they are intended to support responsible ownership and general understanding, not to replace professional inspection or repair by a qualified watchmaker.

We may update, refine, or reorganize content for clarity and accuracy. Some sections may require you to submit a contact inquiry to request more information about workshops. Where forms are present, they are used to respond to your inquiry rather than to create a public profile.

3. User obligations

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the site.

• Provide accurate information when contacting us and do not impersonate any person or organization.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emerald Horizon Horology will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for direct damages arising out of or related to the site will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the site or related services in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 EUR, whichever is lower.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such cases, the above limitations will apply to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Indemnification

Informal resolution: Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and describe the issue so we can attempt to resolve it informally. The informal resolution period is 30 days from the date we receive your notice.

If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may bring a claim in the courts identified in the Governing Law clause. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief where appropriate.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or used the site in a way that could cause harm to users, the platform, or third parties.

Upon termination, the license granted to you in these Terms will end. The following sections will survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, Dispute Resolution, and any provisions that by their nature should survive.
